After Sarkodie published a new song, actress Yvonne Nelson took to Twitter to criticize the rapper.
As reported by the actress in her biography, Sarkodie in his new song “Try Me” refuted claims that he forced Yvonne Nelson to get an abortion.
“You told be you were schooling so you needed to complete it but till today, I don’t believe it. I told you to let my doctor take care of you and you sent a text later that your friend has recommended a one of the best doctors…
“So don’t you make it seem like I was the one pushing you for abortion. Baby girl make you no try me”, part of his lyrics reads.
The rapper claimed in the song that the actress omitted information from her memoir, such as the names of various men she had romances with.
“I never thought I was going on this wave, cause I was ready to take a couple of things to my grave. First of all, let me clap for you baby you are brave but you can’t pick and choose what to say pls behave, nobody sent you so Ohemaa if you want to talk, you have to tell the world every n*gga that you f*cked” Sarkodie rapped.
However, Yvonne slammed Sarkodie for “being disrespectful” and attempting to use rap to minimize the suffering she experienced as a young woman in response to the rapper’s “Try Me” lyrics.

In my book, i narrated how you got me pregnant, How you couldn’t wait for me to get rid of it. How you DROVE me to have an abortion. As usual, you want to use rap to rubbish a pain a young woman felt. We both have daughters, lets see what life throws at them. #triedyou
