Dancehall artist Epixode, from Ghana, has comforted his comrade Stonebwoy after the latter’s Grammy nomination debacle.
Stonebwoy submitted his recent album, “5th Dimension,” for consideration by the Recording Academy in the Global Album of the Year category.
Unfortunately, Stonebwoy was left off of the list when the candidates were revealed on November 10. This resulted in some of his competitors’ followers making fun of him on social media.
Using Twitter, Epixode showed his support for Stonebwoy. He called Stonebwoy a winner and a legend and complimented him on his diligence.
No matter if Stonebwoy is nominated for a Grammy, Epixode stressed that his services to the music business are valued.
“Hello, Stonebwoy To me, you are a winner and a legend that will never be forgotten. We think you’ve done enough for us, and we are grateful. While you’re still here, bro, take your flowers. “I’m proud of you, Grammy or not,” he wrote.

There has been much discussion regarding why Ghanaian musicians are not as successful as their Nigerian colleagues in winning Grammy Awards.
Expectations that a Ghanaian musician would be nominated increased with the introduction of the African Music Performance category last year.
Nonetheless, there was no Ghanaian candidate in this category at the 2024 Grammy Awards, with four Nigerian musicians and one performer from South Africa.
