While the American rapper Young Thug has been in jail for almost a year, he was allegedly given a brief parole to mourn his sister’s death.
The rapper was reportedly permitted to meet his older sister Angela Grier, who passed suddenly last month, according to many social media posts.
“They let lil Jeff come see his sister,” tweeted a woman who is believed to be the mother of Thug’s daughter, Mari Mego.

According to the same source, Thug spent his time outside of prison dressed in a suit and Air Force 1s.
Thug did not show up at the burial itself, according to reports of a private viewing he had of his sister. The lady responded, “That wasn’t the funeral,” to a fan account that claimed Thug attended the funeral.
Angela Grier, the sister of Thug, passed away this month, according to her sisters, who sent condolences online. Grier had a video conversation with her brother from behind bars just before she passed away.
After his arrest in May 2022, Thug has been imprisoned while he waits for his YSL RICO case trial.
The high-profile trial’s jury selection is still going on; it could not start until later this year. A potential juror was recently given a three-day prison term by the case’s judge, Ural Glanville after she was discovered recording the jury selection procedure on her phone.
When a prospective juror failed to show up for her required jury duty, Glanville held her in contempt and punished her by making her write a 30-page essay.
