Yaw Tog has called out Jay Bahd for misrepresenting the circumstances surrounding their breakup, and he is being forthright and honest about his decision to leave the Asaka Boys group.
The controversy surrounding the ‘Sore‘ rapper’s departure from the Kumerica rap trio has persisted ever since. Asaka Boys member Jay Bahd addressed the matter a few weeks ago, claiming that Yaw Tog left the group due of YouTube earnings.
Jay Bahd claims that Yaw Tog is the one who began publicly disparaging the Asaka Boys in an effort to exacerbate their animosity.
“He was the one going about claiming Asaka Boys smoke wee, he said his mother said we smoke wee but you now too you smoke wee and have tattoos … all the hate started from Yaw Tog,” Jay Bahd stated in the clipped interview.

Yaw Tog termed Jay Bahd a liar for saying “he is capping” in response to remarks he made in an exclusive interview with pulse.com.gh. The rapper claims that once he refused to sign a contract that didn’t benefit him, things in the group took a bad turn.
“Nobody forced me to sign a contract, they gave me a contract and I said I won’t sign so that’s where everything started from,” he stated, adding that “Jay Bahd no be Jesus Christ make you people forget Jay Bahd” .
He went on, “He’s capping.” They ought to question City Boy about his remarks to us, as I did not sign a contract.” Yaw Tog, who recently dropped a new song called “Tonight,” which is likewise loaded with gunfire, disclosed that he no longer speaks with any members of the Asaka Boys group.
Yaw Tog said to Selorm Tali in the interview, “I don’t talk to anyone, Kawabanga is not part of them, it’s only Kawabanga I talk to now because it’s kind of like my hood person,” before continuing, “It’s all part of life.”
