Wizkid, the Afrobeats megastar, has reiterated his plans to release a new album as a follow-up to his current one, More Love Less Ego.
Wizkid, who previously hinted the possibility of his new album being dubbed SeiLess, revisited this revelation on his Instagram account to reveal that the anticipated body of work will be published in “22/23.”
Given the vagueness of the date and the similarities between his planned album title and a previous one, fans believe Wizkid’s upcoming album will either be released early next year or in 2022/2023.
Others feel the star, who is famously crafty, may have purposefully excluded his intended month of release while disclosing the date and year, while some fans believe this is an elaborate prank by Wizkid.
It is worth noting, however, that Wizkid revealed the title of his fifth studio album, More Love Less Ego, in a similar fashion last year. So, while we cannot say if Wizkid is joking or not, we will continue to follow the topic.
