Wizkid was reportedly paid one million dollars (415 million naira) to play at the Rolling Loud concert in Toronto, according to reports.
The Nigerian artist was announced as one of three headliners for the inaugural event in Canada’s largest city, Toronto, by Rolling Loud.
The three-day concert, which will take place at Ontario Place, a 15,000-person capacity outdoor music venue in the center of Toronto, will include Wizkid, Dave, and Future as headliners.
Wizkid used social media to make a stunning announcement following the news.
On his Instagram story, he stated that he was paid a million dollars to be one of the event’s main attractions.
He wrote: “Afro nigga! $1million to pop out.”
Wizkid will perform on the third day, September 11th, 2022.
Other than Wizkid, Mavin Records Rema is the only Nigerian scheduled to perform at the concert.

Wizkid’s story backs up Future’s recent tweet, in which he claimed to have been paid a million dollars to headline a concert.
He tweeted, “How many trap niggas u know can get 1mil ah show??? #IMDATNIGGA.”
The inaugural Rolling Loud Canadian version will take place at Ontario Place in Toronto from September 9 to 11.
Lil Uzi Vert, Migos, Roddy Ricch, Trippie Redd, Lil Yachty, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, and others are among the scheduled performers.
