David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, is a heavyweight singer from Nigeria who recently stunned a fan with a gesture of appreciation.
Despite staying away from social media and the public eye in general, the musician and music executive found a way to thank a devoted supporter whose video went viral.
In the aforementioned video, a fan who makes a living as a tricycle driver can be seen listening to Davido’s songs while riding his tricycle, which is heavily decorated with Davido posters.
Davido made out to well-known blogger Tunde Ednut and pledged to pay the fan a whopping one million naira in response to the viral video that caught his notice.
This is not the first time the generous Davido has lavished cash on his followers; one of his other notable deeds was to donate the 250 million naira he raised for charity on his birthday in 2021.
