With the release of new songs featuring fellow Highlife and love crooner Kwabena Kwabena, the Highlife and Afro fusion superstar Akwaboah is getting ready to rule the airwaves in February.
Last Valentine’s Day, Akwaboah’s blockbuster song Obiaa dominated the radio and digital platforms, earning him the title of most streamed song. This year, he promises fans another incredible highlife collaboration.
He asserts that the collaboration with Kwabena Kwabena was long overdue and that it is only fitting that the song, which is about love, has a genuine Highlife groove.
Akwaboah hinted earlier this year that he would be releasing a string of singles that would follow each other, leading up to the release of his highly anticipated Lighthouse Album later in 2023.
Beginning on Friday, January 27, 2023, the brand-new song named “My beloved” will be accessible on all digital platforms. The song’s music video will debut on January 29, 2023, a Sunday.
Akwaboah, a multiple award-winning musician, is preparing for his annual Shades on Love concerts in Accra on February 14 and Kumasi on February 18, 2023. He will round off the month of February with another performance in London, United Kingdom, on February 25, 2023.
