With his most recent accomplishments on the Billboard end-of-year rankings for 2023, Rema has once again broken the record for Nigerian music.

The singer broke a new record when he became the first Nigerian musician to have an album chart on the Billboard 200 year-end chart with his debut album Rave & Roses at number 157. The singer had multiple entries on the media outlet’s 2023 end-of-year lists.

Moreover, Billboard lists the top 10 afrobeats musicians and songs for 2023.

Top 10 Afrobeats Artists of 2023

Burna Boy topped the list of the Afrobeats artists of 2023, according to Billboard, with artists such as Wizkid, Tems and Libianca holding a slot on the charts without releasing an album or an EP for the year 2023.
