With the kind permission of Felix Afena Gyan, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, nicknamed Shatta Wale, had his hit song On God played at the largest sports venue in Rome, Italy, the over 70,000-seat Stadio Olimpico of AS Roma.
The talented dancehall singer made this comment in response to footage of the teenage striker performing Shatta Wale’s ON GOD song at AS Roma’s squad presentation.
On his verified social media account on the well-known social media site, Twitter, Shatta Wale posted his response to the video and stated;

Shatta Wale previously stated that Ghanaians would soon understand one thing about his songs.
He claims that because of the motivational nature of his songs, future generations of Ghanaians will value him.
The message he posted says;
“They’ll soon understand that my songs are inspirational music for the next generation, #KingOfKings,” I said.
When AS Roma players were officially introduced to the crowd at Stadio Olimpico before of the 2022–23 season, a young Ghanaian player named Felix Afena-Gyan made a mesmerizing entrance.
The song that will be played during the presentation on Sunday, August 7, 2022, must be chosen by each participant.
Afena-Gyan thanked the crowd as she exited the dugout to Shatta Wale’s “On God” song.
The forward attempted dance steps while moving toward the center of the field to join his teammates who had just been introduced. He also attempted to whisper the lyrics to “On God.”
In advance of a charity game between AS Roma and Shakhtar Donetsk, which they ultimately lost by five goals to zero in front of almost 60,000 spectators, the introduction ceremony was held.
When he was replaced in the 80th minute, Afena-Gyan had contributed to the game.
