According to Renault Ghana, Premium Motors Limited has gifted the Ghana Boxing League winners two Renault Kwid cars.
As many people may remember, Charles Tetteh’s triumph against competitor John Quaye to win the National Super Featherweight Championship marked the culmination of the Ghanaian boxing league’s final matches and established him as the sport’s top boxer. The Charles Quartey Boxing Foundation won the title of league’s Best Gym as well.
The two winning cars were handed to them by Mr. Jihad Hijazi, Chief Executive Officer of Renault Ghana-Premium Motors, who also offered his congratulations. He claimed that one of the key goals of the automaker is to assist society as a whole, develop talent, and make sure that our homegrown boxers are promoted internationally. Renault is pleased to be affiliated with such a great event, and we look forward to extending this cooperation, he continued.
When Charles Tetteh received the keys to the brand-new Renault Kwid, he was unable to contain his delight. He said, “I can’t thank Premium Motors enough for this incredible gift; it’s a dream come true. My goal was to prevail week after week, and Renault has made it even more memorable by giving me such a fantastic automobile as a gift.
Imax Media Group promoted the first season of the boxing league, a project of the Ministry of Sports in collaboration with the Ghana Boxing Association.
The Hon. Minister of Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif, the Director of Operations at the Presidency, Mr. Lord Commey, the President of the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA), Mr. Abraham Kotei Neequaye, the Management and Staff of Premium Motors Limited, and Imax Media Group were all present at the award ceremony.
Essentially, Premium Motors Limited and the other sponsors’ assistance and contributions were essential to the boxing league’s overall success. Renault Ghana – Premium Motors Limited’s management team pledges to add more incentives for upcoming events.
