Burna Boy, a self-titled music Odogwu from Nigeria, has received two fresh Grammy nominations.
On November 15, the organization revealed the nominees for their upcoming 65th edition. Burna Boy received nominations for his songs “Last Last” and “Love Damini” in the categories of Best Global Music Album and Best Global Performance, respectively.
Burna Boy now has a total of six Grammy nominations, with one victory for Twice Aa Tall, which took home the prize for Best Global Music Album. Following closely on the heals of Burna Boy winning the Best African Act prize at the MTV Europe Awards for 2022, the Grammys have once again given their approval.

Burna Boy has received yet another international award, this time for being named the best African act at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2022.
Burna Boy has been named the MTV Europe Music Awards African act of the year 2022, adding another feather to his vast expanding cap.
The award ceremony is scheduled for today, November 13, 2022, at the PSD Bank Dome in Düsseldorf, Germany. The Best African Act category was announced at the pre-award ceremony, and Burna, who was nominated alongside Ayra Starr, Black Sherif, Musa Keys, and Zuchu, won the award after an eventful 2022.
This is not, however, Burna’s first win in this category; he also received the award in 2019 following an eventful year.
