Customers of MTN Mobile Money and Vodafone Ghana Mobile Financial Services Ltd (Vodafone Cash) are now able to pay at each other’s merchant point of sale thanks to interoperability services that have been enabled by MML and MobileMoney Limited (MML). This is a significant step in advancing the financial inclusion objective of both organizations and the Government of Ghana.
On March 1, 2023, the service became live and is now accessible to all Vodafone Cash and MTN Mobile Money users. Users of both networks can now pay directly for products and services at any merchant location in the nation that accepts MTN Mobile Money or Vodafone Cash.
