Tiwa SavageIt has been revealed that Tiwa Savage would be the first and only Nigerian musician to perform during King Charles III of England’s coronation.

The coronation event for King Charles III of England will take place on May 7th, 2023, and it has been revealed that the multi-award-winning singer, songwriter, and performer Tiwa Savage will be the first and only Nigerian artist to play there.

The BBC’s coronation event will have Tiwa Savage among its singers, the Telegraph reports. The King and Queen will also attend the concert, it was revealed.

The coronation event will also feature performances by Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, several Take That member, Andrea Bocelli, Sir Bryn Terfel, Paloma Faith, Olly Murs, Steve Winwood, Nicole Scherzinger of The Pussycat Dolls, Lang Lang, DJ Pete Tong, and Lucy, among others.
