Black Sherif, a pioneer and singer from Ghana, has received recognition from BBC 1 xtra as one of the artists to watch for as part of their coveted Hotfor2023 campaign.
The Konongo native was picked alongside a number of amazing artists who, in the opinion of the British black music giant, are expected to soar in 2023 and beyond.
The popular British female quartet Flo, Doechi, Cristale, Nemzz, Ayra Starr, and Debbie are just a few of the artists on the list.
The Villain I Never Was, the debut studio album by Black Sherif, which he released in 2022 and is currently charting on several digital streaming services, had an amazing year.
He performed brilliantly on the main stage at the 25th MOBO Awards at the OVO stadium in Wembley, UK. He has successfully headlined his own performances in the UK and Ghana.
