With over 4 million followers on Instagram and over 3 million on Facebook, Stonebwoy, the adored Ghanaian superstar and inventor of “Afro-Dancehall,” an infectious mashup of Reggae, Dancehall, and Fusions from Africa, today unveiled the cover art and tracklist of 5TH DIMENSION, his aptly named fifth career album, which is scheduled to hit stores on April 28th via Def Jam Recordings.
The album’s debut track, “Life & Money,” featuring Stormzy, was created by British-Ghanaian producer JAE5 and will appear on 5TH DIMENSION in addition to his current hit “More Of You” (who has worked with the likes of Burna Boy, J Hus & Koffee.) The scorching song exemplifies Stonebwoy’s skillful blending of reggae, hip-hop, Afrobeat, and trap music, which has made him one of Africa’s most significant new young performers.
