Temilade Openiyi, also known as Tems, a talented Nigerian vocalist, has finally broken her silence after winning her first Grammy.
The sensational Tems, who was nominated in three categories—“Best Rap Song,” “Best Melodic Rap Performance,” and “Album Of The Year” as a featured artist on Beyonce’s “Renaissance” album—won her first Grammy at the 65th Grammy Awards, which were held on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, United States.
On February 8th, 2023, the singer expressed appreciation to God and her followers for their support on Twitter. She stated:
What God has done for me, I can’t even speak. All the glory really belongs to Him.
To everyone one that has been supporting me still. Through everything, please know I don’t take it for granted. I truly appreciate it, the love has been too too much. Thank you so much Rebel Gang. We up very soon
