Tems recently discussed her experience working with Rihanna on the megastar’s Black Panther hit, “Lift Me Up,” as she continues to score significant victories and make significant statements.
New-age worldwide star Tems has discussed her experience working with Rihanna to create the Black Panther hit, Lift Me Up, as she continues on her fast-paced ascent to the top of the music industry.
Lift Me Up, which is scheduled for release on October 28th, will mark Rihanna’s first song since her extended hiatus six years ago. Tems co-wrote “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” the song that will serve as the soundtrack to the massively popular film from Marvel, with Rihanna, Oscar winner Ludwig Gorranson, and Ryan Coogler. ‘Lift Me Up’ was written as a tribute to the life and legacy of Chadwick Boseman.
According to the singer Tems’ fan website and news source, Tems Szn, the occasion was a huge honour. Tems added, “To hear Rihanna perform this song is a huge honour for me because she has been an inspiration to me.
Remember how Tems met Rihanna at her Fenty x Savage presentation in September of last year? During their talk, Rihanna effusively expressed her adoration for the musician.
Tems has also collaborated with Wizkid, Beyonce, Drake, and Future on songs like “Wait 4 U” and other hits.
