Tems considers the difficulties of being a lady from Nigeria.
Grammy-winning artist Temilade Openiyi, better known as Tems, recently discussed the advantages and disadvantages of being a Nigerian in an interview with Kiss FM in London.
Although the musician acknowledged that being a Nigerian is a “tough” experience, she also emphasized how resilient Nigerian women are, calling it a “miracle.”
Tems said that she was impressed by Nigerian women and that they were really special. She also said that it’s a symbol of honor to accept one’s gifts, to be proud of one’s personality, and to represent that on a worldwide scale.
She claims that although though being Nigerian is tough, it is a notable blessing because of the power and distinctiveness of Nigerian women.
