Tems bags a 3rd nomination as the Grammy Awards announce their nominees.

GrammyTems has altered the course of Nigerian music by being the first female Nigerian artist to receive not one, but two Grammy nominations as part of the entire list of nominees for the 65th Grammy Awards, which will be held on February 5, 2023.

Tems received two significant nods for her work on the popular song “Wait For U,” which she co-wrote with Future and Drake. The singer was a finalist for the prestigious honors in the categories of “Best Rap Song” and “Best Melodic Rap Performance.” Huge victory for the vocalist, whose singing had many hooked on the song once it came out.

Tems also won another nomination for Album Of The Year as a featured artist on Beyonce’s ‘Renaissance’ album, bringing her total Grammy nominations for 2023 to three.
