The recent divorce drama involving PSG and Moroccan football player Hakimi has prompted a reaction from UK musician Stefflon Don.
The extensive list of commenters on the current divorce lawsuit involving PSG football player Achraf Hakimi and his wife Hiba Abouk now includes well-known UK rapper Stefflon Don. Hiba Abouk was found to have filed for divorce in March 2023, one month after the football player was charged with rape.
There were rumors that Hiba had asked for half of the football star’s riches, but the court supposedly showed that none of the Moroccan assets were in the model’s name; as a result, Hiba would not be receiving half of the football star’s assets.
Stefflon Don reacted by advising women, saying that no woman is entitled to get half of her husband’s income if they did not create it together. She is not the only famous person to comment on the accusations, though; UFC champion Israel Adesanya recently expressed his views on social media.
According to reports, Hakimi was the subject of an inquiry at the time a 24-year-old woman accused him of raping her on February 24, 2023. Following the event, Hiba had not publicly defended her spouse Hakimi; but, a month after filing for divorce, the Spanish model did so.
Her statement said:
‘long before the events in which I have been involved in the media and of which I am totally unaware’.
After taking the decision to legally separate and stop living together, while awaiting the divorce proceedings, who would have imagined that in addition to facing the usual pain that comes with separation and accepting the grief that comes with the failure of a family project which I had given body and soul, I would have to face this ignominy,’
Hakimi is still being investigated because not all of the allegations against the PSG star have been dropped.
