Ghanaian musician Sista Afia recently revealed that she once contemplated recording an entire album as a diss track towards her ex-boyfriend who broke her heart.
During an interview on Hitz FM on June 6, 2024, the ‘Slay Queen’ artist shared that her last emotional heartbreak occurred in 2017.
She recounted how her former partner was secretly involved with another woman and married her without Sista Afia’s knowledge.
The singer described the experience as deeply painful, stating, “The last time I had one was in 2017.
I almost recorded a diss album for him. It hurt me badly.
I didn’t even know that he was dating someone else.”
Despite the betrayal, Sista Afia disclosed that she and her ex-partner have reconciled and are now on good terms. “We’re very good friends now.
It was never about me. He’s been apologising for months now.
He wants to marry me now. But it’s too late,” she mentioned.
