Shatta Wale, the dancehall sensation from Ghana, has resorted to social media to voice his worries about what he perceives to be a concerning trend among some musicians’ followers.
The musician behind “I Know My Level” recently accused other musicians of instilling an atmosphere of jealously and melancholy in their fans through a Facebook post.
“When I express myself and witness these sorrowful fans commenting under posts, I feel sorry for them because spiritually, their favorites have passed on the spirit of sadness and jealousy to them, and they carry it wherever they go,” Shatta Wale wrote in a Facebook post published on Sunday, January 28, 2024.
The open-minded musician didn’t hold back when he claimed that some fans are badly affected by their heroes and suffer from jealousy no matter where they go.
He said, jokingly, “It’s not my fault your favorite musician isn’t as wealthy as me, dude. I’m self-made, and your favorite looks like a Chinese product. I’m sorry; that hurts. 🤣🤣 You’ve been brainwashed, oh 🤣🤣🤣.”
When I talk and I see these sad fans commenting under post erh , I pity them cuz spiritually their fav’s transferred the spirit of sadness and jealousy into them so they take it everywhere with them
Dem brainwash u oooooo
He believes that jealousy will not improve Ghana’s subpar industry.
