Shatta Wale, a Ghanaian dancehall musician, incurred the fury of his countrymen after he used social media to disparage Nana Ama McBrown, a Ghanaian actress and television personality.
In a video, Shatta Wale asserted that Nana Ama McBrown is unfit to lead UTV’s late-night entertainment program since she has no background in TV presenting or journalism.
Nana Ama McBrown is an actor, although she has no experience in front of the camera. He replied that occasionally she might make a case and someone would refute her.
Further asserting Nana Ama McBrown’s lack of professionalism, Shatta Wale urged the UTV CEO to fire her and replace her with a recent graduate with up-to-date expertise of TV presenting.
Fada Dickson I ask you, I admire you much, and despite everything, a lot of people are being helped by the inventions, ideas, and vision you have for our nation.
“Check your TV and radio channels, please. The shows you are doing are absurd. It’s absurd and ridiculous. Legon lads who have some thoughts are among us. Let them incorporate it,” he continued.
