Charles Nii Armah Mensah, better known by his stage as Shatta Wale, and his three accomplices are scheduled to appear in court today, Tuesday, December 7, 2021.
On Tuesday, October 19, 2021, Shatta Wale was arrested for staging a gun attack on himself.
He was accused of spreading false information and inciting panic, and he was held in Ankaful Prison for five days. Later, he was given a GH100,000 self-recognizance bail.
The three conspirators were each given GH100,000 bail with one surety.

In a similar incident, hip-hop singer Samuel Frimpong, better known by his stage name Medikal, is set to return to court today to resume his trial for allegedly flashing a firearm in a video posted on social media.
Medikal, who is accused of flaunting weapons and ammunition, has entered a not guilty plea.

He was charged with displaying weapons and ammunition, as well as being put in custody for five days.
Following that, he was granted bail in the amount of GH100,000 with one surety.
