    See how a woman in Accra stole an iPhone from a restaurant.

    On January 3, 2023, a young woman who has not yet been recognized was seen on camera taking an iPhone from the counter of a restaurant in Ashaley Botwe, Accra.

    The woman and a male pretended to be making inquiries for an impending party when they went to Charly’s Ghana restaurant, which is where the entire incident occurred.

    The restaurant’s owner, Charlotte Derban, claims the two came up with a plan to take the phone.

    She described the situation as follows: “When they entered, they questioned a member of my staff if we took orders for parties, so they had to phone me to get my confirmation. So I answered all of his inquiries when he phoned me.”

    She said, “After the call, the two conspired to steal the iPhone, with the man convincing the woman to take the iPhone while he destroys the waitress.”

    She stated, “The guy went aside and told my waitress that he is throwing the girl a surprise party and he doesn’t want the girl to know.

    The woman, who was wearing a red long-sleeved shirt, swiftly took the phone from the counter, put it in quiet mode, and then hastily buried it in her handkerchief before vanishing from the counter.

    The video of the incident has gone popular on social media.

    Before posting the footage on social media, Charlotte Derban first gave the offenders a formal warning to return the iPhone.
