Obinna Nwafor, a seasoned Nollywood actor best known as Saint Obi in the Nigerian film industry, has died after a brief illness.
According to sources, Nwafor, who is well-known for his roles in popular films like “Candle Light” and “Goodbye Tomorrow,” passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at the age of 57, at his sister’s home in Jos, Plateau State.
Saint Obi’s colleagues in the film industry revealed that the movie star had passed away. Prior to his death last Sunday, he was said to have been receiving treatment for an undisclosed disease and had been going to the hospital for care for months, but he didn’t get recovered, so it led to his death.
