Ruger revealed the inspiration for his hit song “Asiwaju,” which ruled the charts from December 2022 to 2023.
The gifted singer, performer, and composer shared his inspiration for the driving forces for the 2022 release of “Asiwaju” in a brief chat with well-known podcaster Adesope. The song’s idea and driving force came from Ruger’s admission that he had been irate at everyone and everything.
As the singer began the new year by releasing a joint venture with DJ Neptune, Ruger, who gave a magnificent performance in Germany, also revealed his ambitions to release a new album in 2023.
In December 2022, “Asiwaju” held the top spot on the Apple Music Top Songs Nigeria Chart for a total of four weeks. The artist was so pleased with this accomplishment that he responded on his social media platform.
