A video of renowned American rapper William Leonard Roberts II, better known in entertainment as Rick Ross, praising two Ghanaian emerging artists, Kwesi Arthur and Black Sherif, surfaced on social media in the early hours of Wednesday.
He gave a shoutout to various African musicians in the video, and while praising their efforts, he highlighted the names of Black Sherif and Kwesi Arthur.

The radio host, on the other hand, has chastised social media users for mocking other artists. He remarked that the absence of other musicians does not imply that they are not doing well or that their careers are over.
“Just because Rick Ross mentions your favorite artists but not others doesn’t imply their careers are over.” Act like though you’ve got any sense, chale,” he wrote on Twitter.
