Divine Ikubor, better known by his stage name Rema, is a renowned singer, composer, and performer from Nigeria who just provided an update on his enrollment at the University of Lagos.
The 22-year-old starlet, who stated in 2022 that he was accepted into Unilag to study creative arts as per the desires of his mother, has announced that he had left the institution.
The musician claimed in a recent interview that the prolonged ASUU strike, which kept the majority of Nigerian students at home for several months, has made him lose interest in the academic stage of life.
Rema claimed that he had concrete plans on managing to be both a student and an artiste, but the strike collided with his plans, and even though schools are now back in session, it is not in his plans to go back to studying.
