    Rema reacts to Wizkid breaking the Billboard record with the massive hit “Calm Down”

    Rema, a gifted vocalist, responded to his most recent accomplishment by placing his blockbuster hit song “Calm Down” at the top of the Billboard charts.

    The outstanding singer and performer Rema smashed Wizkid’s solo lead billboard record with the current hit single “Calm Down,” demonstrating the progression and expansion of afrobeat. Rema responded to this momentous occasion on social media by posting a series of updates on his Instagram story, one of which had the word “History” in it.

    The official release of “Calm Down” at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts marks the highest position for a solo lead single by a Nigerian artist to date. Wizkid previously held this record with his timeless hit, “Essence.”
