Rapper Post Malone reportedly crashed during his performance in St. Louis on Saturday, breaking his ribs in the process, according to his management.
“I want to thank everyone for their kind words. Thank God, @postmalone didn’t fracture three ribs last night, the rapper’s manager Dre London posted on Instagram on Sunday. “After the show, we went to the hospital for X-rays, and they said he had injured his ribs!”
Post Malone slipped and collapsed while performing at the Enterprise Center in downtown St. Louis.
According to concertgoer Tana Cantrell, the disaster happened roughly an hour into his set.
From my vantage point at the time, Cantrell recalled, “it seemed like he just collapsed on stage, holding the middle of his chest.” “I knew this was serious when I saw how much pain he was in from just looking at his face and body. He was in so much anguish that his legs were shaking.
When they lowered his guitar, “there was a hole in the stage that he had fallen through,” Cantrell continued. “They did not get the floor put back up in time.”
According to Cantrell, after about ten minutes, Post Malone stood up with assistance from others and proceeded to take a rest. Before concluding the performance, he profusely apologized after returning to the stage, according to Cantrell.
The rapper was praised by Dre London for wrapping up the performance “in classic Posty manner.”
He is the only artist I genuinely know who is like him, the Instagram post added.
In a video that was also uploaded to Dre London’s Instagram on Sunday, the rapper expressed regret and thanked his St. Louis supporters. He corroborated Cantrell’s claim that he tumbled through a hole intended to support his guitar stand.
Post Malone stated in the video, “We just got back from the hospital, and everything’s good.” They provided me with pain medication and other necessities so that we could continue to rock the trip.
