At “A Night With Stonebwoy“ event, Stonebwoy ascended the stage to a resoundingly enthusiastic reception following his eagerly awaited debut in Berekum.
The Ghanaian worldwide music sensation performed electrifyingly at what turned out to be his first headline gig in Berekum on Saturday, January 14. Thousands of fans jammed into the Ahenfie Hotel in Berekum to see. The Nish Entertainment-produced event, which sold out, was a perfect recreation of what took place earlier that day when tens of thousands of citizens went to the streets to give him a hero’s welcome to the town.
After a few new performers concluded their acts, the audience’s anticipation for Stonebwoy burst into yells of his name. The first song of his performance, “1 GAD,” was being played as his hypeman, OGee The MC and DJ Justice, made his way out to the platform. He entered the stage with confidence and his entrancing grin. His enormous size only enhanced his commanding stage presence; from wherever in the audience, it was practically impossible to overlook the behemoth performer taking over every available space.
Through numerous songs alone, Stonebwoy held the audience’s attention with his almost prophetic intensity. Popular songs like “Bhim Nation,” “Kpokeke,” “Tomorrow,” “Tuff Seed,” “Hero,” “People Dey,” “Run Go,” “Gidigba,” “Name,” “Not Again,” “Activate,” “Nukedzor,” “Mane Me,” “Sobolo,” “Nominate,” “Ololo,” “Higher,” and “Putuu” were played while he danced and enthralled the crowd.
Award-winning African musician Stonebwoy has been firmly putting the continent on the musical map ever since he first became well-known in 2012. The musician, who finished 2022 as the top male artist in Ghana thanks to international touring, noteworthy collaborations, and immensely well-liked singles, was recently honored with an achievement plaque from Audiomack after becoming the first musician from Ghana to surpass 100 million streams on the music streaming service.
