The legendary football player Pele consistently denied that Sandra Regina was his child, but it has now come to light that he bequeathed a portion of his vast fortune to her in his will.
Sandra, who was born in 1964 and passed away 17 years ago, was devastated that her father continued to ignore her. But she was mentioned in his will along with all of his seven children.
The two boys of Sandra, who got to see their grandfather for the first time while he lay dying in the hospital, will inherit Sandra’s part of his wealth.
Pele had a last wish to meet Octavio Felinto Neto and Gabriel Arantes do Nascimento, and on December 28, the day before he passed away at the age of 82, they paid him a visit.
“I thank God for this opportunity, it was what my mother most desired,” stated Gabriel. My aunts told me that our grandfather wanted to visit us when I spoke to them.
“It was an opportunity we had been waiting for, so we were quite delighted. Our family is no different from any other in having disagreements and disputes, yet there are times when love and unity are more vital than anything else. We are quite content.
After Pele had an affair with his housekeeper, Anisio Machado, their mother was born. Although Pele resisted acknowledging paternity, DNA tests and a 1991 court decision established his paternity. The estimated value of Pele’s estate was £13 million. With his first wife, he had three children: Kelly, Edinho, and Jennifer; with his second wife, twins Joshua and Celeste; and with a third woman, Flavia, he had a daughter.
