Renowned fashion icon and socialite, Osebo the Zaraman, has urged young people to prioritize strategic thinking rather than relying solely on hard work to achieve financial success.
During an interview with GhanaWeb’s Stella Dziedzorm at businessman Richard Nii-Armah Quaye’s 40th birthday celebration, Osebo highlighted that many young individuals lack the resilience necessary to reach such heights of success.
When asked about the secret to attaining wealth similar to Quaye’s, Osebo explained that most young people are unwilling to endure the struggles and challenges Quaye faced.
“You can’t just wake up and be like him. I listened to one of his interviews, and he has truly suffered. Many young people today wouldn’t have the patience or determination to go through what he did,” he stated.
He also addressed the debate around working smart versus working hard, emphasizing that financial success requires both intelligence and effort.
Osebo further explained that making money isn’t solely about physical labor but about strategic decision-making.
“It’s not just about hard work; intelligence plays a huge role. If you want to be like Quaye, it won’t be easy. In fact, you can even surpass him, but only if you think strategically,” he added.
His words reinforce the importance of smart decision-making and strategic planning in wealth-building, adding to the ongoing conversation about financial success.
