Robert Klah, an event organizer and Charter House member, has explained why Ghanaian drill sensation Black Sherif was unable to perform at the recent Ghana Party In The Park concert in London.
The “Kwaku The Traveler” hitmaker was supposed to perform at the Ghana Party In The Party concert as part of the package for winning Best New Artiste of the Year at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the musician was unable to attend the performance. An entertainment personality, Robert Klah, has explained why Black Sherif was left off the list of musicians scheduled to perform at the event.
Robert stated on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz segment with Sammy Forson that he was informed by Blacko’s team that the time for the performance was not favorable or in alignment with their schedules, so they opted out.
He explained that the contract was written in such a way that if any of the artists in the Best New Artist category were unable to attend the show, they would look for another artist in the same category to perform.
He went on to say that even after they agreed to work with another musician to replace Black Sherif. The duration for the second artiste’s visa processing was difficult, so they had to boycott that and go with the ones on board.
