Ghanaian entertainment figure Kwaku Osei Korankye Asiedu, widely known as KOKA, has reportedly been taken into custody. According to sources, the pundit and event organizer was arrested due to alleged threats made against gospel singer Ohemaa Mercy.
Before his arrest, KOKA had publicly criticized Ohemaa Mercy, referring to her as a “fake woman of God” in several online rants. KOKA, who previously worked as her road manager, later posted on X, claiming that entertainment journalist Becky from Joy News had “set him up.”
They also made it clear that Becky had no involvement in the situation, despite KOKA’s claims, and apologized to her for being wrongfully implicated. The statement emphasized that Becky was not responsible for KOKA’s arrest, as some had speculated.
