Ghanaian actor Strika, known for his role in Beasts of No Nation, has finally responded to recent theft accusations made by Gunshot, a protégé of Dr Likee. Dismissing the claims as an attempt to tarnish his reputation, Strika has vowed to expose the truth behind his sudden departure from Kumawood.
Strika Denies Theft Allegations After Parting Ways with Dr Likee’s Camp
Gunshot had previously taken in Strika, whose career had reportedly declined due to struggles with substance abuse and homelessness. Under Gunshot’s guidance and with support from Dr Likee, Strika was making a return to the Kumawood movie industry. However, following his dismissal from the group, he has not been seen with Gunshot or any of Dr Likee’s associates.
“I’m from the streets. I grew up on the streets and learned my skills there. It takes time to change certain habits, and I’m still working on myself. But saying I stole a phone? That’s a lie,” Strika stated.
Strika Returns Home After Leaving Dr Likee’s Camp
Following his fallout with Dr Likee’s team, Strika has returned to his parents in Ashaiman. The actor initially joined the group in 2024 after years of hardship on the streets, a situation that arose after his breakout role in Beasts of No Nation, which featured Idris Elba and Ghanaian actor Abraham Attah.
