    Nominees For The Soundcity MVP Awards Include Black Sherif, KiDi, King Promise, Camidoh, Gyakie, And Lasmid.

    Athletes from Ghana are participating in the 2023 Soundcity MVP Awards in force.

    The Soundcity Music Video Awards have honored excellence among Africa’s talented workers ever since they were founded in 2016.

    Young Ghanaian artists including Black Sherif, who has gotten five nominations this year, Camidoh, King Promise, KiDi, Gyakie, and Lasmid are among the nominees.

    In five categories—Best New Artiste, Best Collaboration, Best Hip Hop, Listeners’ Choice, and Viewers’ Choice—the “Konongo Zongo” singer received nominations.

    With eight nominations, Burnaboy leads the pack, followed by Rema and Asake, who each have seven.

    MIGHT BE INTERESTED  Angelique Kidjo defeats Wizkid to win the Grammy Award for Best Global Music Album in 2022.

    While Camidoh and Omah Lay both garnered five nominations, Costa Titch, Kidi, and Ayra Starr each received four.

    African Artiste of the Year, Best Male MVP, Best Female MVP, and other noteworthy accomplishments by African artists are recognized during the event.

    The function will be held on February 11 at Lagos’ Eko Convention Center.
