Uti Nwachuku claims Wesley Kesse stole the concept for his birthday shoot from him.
Uti Nwachuku, a former Big Brother Africa winner and actor, has lambasted Ghanaian content producer Wesley Kesse for copying his beautiful birthday photoshoot concept ‘in broad open,’ without giving acknowledgment.
Wesley posted the photograph on his social media handle Instagram, April 19, 2023, in his quest to commemorate his 30th birthday while on vacation in Tanzania’s Zanzibar.
Uti disclosed in an Instagram post with both visuals juxtaposed that the original concept’s photographer is furious about the unethical exploitation of her creative idea without credit and is considering suing Wesley Kesse in a legal confrontation.
“I’m all about inspiration 100 per cent… But as a fellow creative, @wesleykessegh U should know better naaa🧐 Come on bro,” he said.
Uti additionally identified Ghanaian stylist Osei Kwaku Esq and Image Studios as accomplices in the intellectual concept theft.
His post drew varied views on Instagram, with some users claiming that the idea isn’t his own or that he hasn’t patented it, while others believe that content creators should be clear and honest about where their inspirations originate from.
