Parts of the studio where Nana Ama McBrown’s Onua Showtime was broadcast on Onua TV were damaged by fire. The source of the fire is unknown, but firemen from the Headquarters Substation responded quickly and managed to put it off.
The GNFS stated on its Facebook page that its staff was able to keep the fire from spreading to other portions of TV3’s studio.
According to an official statement from the Ghana National Service, management of TV3 Ghana Limited complimented firemen for their timely reaction to a fire affecting a studio utilised for ONUA Showtime with Mcbrown.
A crew from the Headquarters Substation responded quickly to a call to assist in preventing the spread of fire on the TV3 premises.
Even though portions of the reception area of the studio was burnt, the main studio area and the backstage were salvaged from the fire.
Management expressed gratitude and delight to the GNFS for its quick reaction in preventing a severe calamity.
Despite the fact that several staff members were frightened by the incident, no human casualties were reported.
Meanwhile, Nana Ama Mcbrown has not yet responded to the incident.
