Due to health issues, well-known Nollywood actor Mr. Ibu reportedly had to amputate one of his legs.
The Nollywood actor has been in the headlines for the past few days due to health issues that could potentially be fatal. The revelation was confirmed by the actor and his family, who were also raising money from the public to save Mr. Ibu’s life.
Doctors have told the actor he requires immediate medical attention or else he could lose his leg. The actor made this announcement in a social media video, asking for prayers and financial support from the public.

Fans, celebrities, and other Nollywood stars turned out and gave money to help save the actor. As a result, Mr. Ibu was transported outside of Nigeria for medical care; nevertheless, as of right now, he still only has one leg.
Jasmine, Mr. Ibu’s daughter, reportedly confirmed the tragic news of his amputation to GuardianLifeNG.
“Daddy had seven successful surgeries as of 1 PM today, but one of his legs had to be amputated in order to keep him alive and improve his prospects of recovery. We have all found this development difficult, but in order to keep Daddy alive, we have to accept it as his new reality, the news portal reported her as saying.
She further mentioned that in order to care for the renowned Nollywood actor, the family is still looking for financial assistance. Since then, the actor has received support from friends and fans.
