The Ghanaian artist Mr. Drew has reacted to remarks made by his coworker Kuami Eugene concerning the song “Case”‘s copyright claim.
Remember how Kuami Eugene had claimed in September that he had created the song “Case” just for Mr. Drew but had not gotten any credit or money for it? Kuami Eugene claims that this problem led him to seek legal advice in order to collect his income.
Speaking on a recent episode of TV3’s Day Show with Berla Mundi, Kuami Eugene stated his reasons for pursuing Mr. Drew through the legal system in spite of his non-legal approach to other artists.
He claims he may “bully” Mr. Drew since he is older than him, but he also needs to show respect for the other artists who are older than him.
He remarked, “I can bully Mr. Drew because I came before him, even though he may be older than me.”
On November 28, Mr. Drew attacked Kuami Eugene on his X (Formerly Twitter) profile in response to the remarks, calling him a “liar”. He wondered if it was appropriate to boast about being younger than someone.
Who told him that being younger than someone is a problem, apart from the fact that he is a liar? Mr. Drew posted, “Jon boy.”
Aside from the fact that he’s a liar , who made him think being younger than someone is a flex ? Jon boy 😂
