Lasmid and Mr. Drew, former High Spiritual label mates, crushed the hearts of their UK fans on July 13 when they revealed they will not be appearing at the yearly “Ghana Party in the Park” celebration.
Mr. Drew and Lasmid both shared the news on their Instagram accounts.
“My people in the UK, I won’t be able to perform at the Ghana Party in the Park event. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding. Let’s do this another at a better time. Thank you for your continued support,” Lasmid wrote.
“For my lovely fans in the UK, unfortunately, I will not be attending GPITP on Saturday…hopefully we can do this at a better time,” Mr Drew also shared via his Insta Story.
Lasmid and Mr. Drew, together with other incredible Ghanaian artists, were slated to wow audiences at the annual event on Saturday, July 15.
On social media, the simultaneous exit of the two former label mates has sparked considerable discussion as some fans wonder if their former boss is to blame.
