Microsoft is introducing AI-driven themes in Outlook, called “Themes by Copilot,” which offer a more personalized appearance for users with a Copilot Pro or business license. These themes will be available on Outlook for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and the web, aiming to make the app feel “more beautiful and approachable,” according to Microsoft.

Users can create themes inspired by weather or locations, with options for dynamic updates every few hours, daily, weekly, or monthly. For those who enable location permissions, the “My Location” theme will display imagery tailored to their locale and automatically refresh as they travel.

Each AI-generated theme includes a wallpaper background for the desktop version of Outlook or a header section in the iOS and Android apps, along with an accent color that customizes the rest of the Outlook interface.

Additionally, Microsoft is launching a set of standard themes in green, red, and purple for all Outlook users without a Copilot license, available on the web, PC, Mac, and mobile devices.
