Shatta Wale‘s ex-girlfriend and mother of his son, Michy GH, has responded to his recent remarks about their past relationship.

During an appearance on the Rants, Bants, and Confessions podcast with Efia Odo, Ama Burland, and Gisela Amponsah, Shatta Wale opened up about the challenges that led to his breakup with Michy, the mother of their son, Majesty. The dancehall star claimed Michy didn’t value his efforts throughout their relationship, despite his strong feelings and attempts to keep them together.

In a subsequent interview with Nana Romeo on November 14, 2024, Michy GH addressed these criticisms but chose not to delve into specifics. “Given my long journey with him, I believe I deserve appreciation,” she said, questioning the accuracy of Shatta Wale’s statements and urging people to seek clarity. She rhetorically asked whether another woman would have remained by his side for as long as she did.

Michy revealed plans to release a documentary to share her life story and hinted at the need for both of them to move forward without assigning blame for their breakup.

She also addressed misconceptions about her background, noting that some view her as a “street girl” due to her past association with Shatta Wale, despite coming from a wealthy family. Michy emphasized that it was unfair to label her ungrateful, given the sacrifices she made to support Shatta Wale during his struggles, only for their relationship to end after he found success.
