The mother of four recently thanked her followers for their worry for her health in a video posted on Instagram.
The Nollywood star also said that her comment from the most recent episode of her cookery show, “Mercy’s Menu,” was misinterpreted and taken out of context.
Mercy emphasized that she has thyroid issues alone and has not been given a cancer diagnosis.
“I sincerely appreciate every single one of you who has called, texted, and prayed. Thank you so much; nonetheless, I sincerely appreciate your prayers since, in the name of Jesus, I do not have cancer.
“I said I had a cancer scare. It means I had the swelling on my neck and my doctors felt it was something serious… and I have problems with my thyroid but I’m perfectly okay.”
