“I’m not angry enough yet,” he explained. “Whatever you are angry about becomes your responsibility to fix. If you step outside and see choked gutters and litter everywhere, and it makes you angry, then it’s your duty to address it. Things aren’t too bad right now, but if they get worse and I become angry enough, that responsibility will fall on me.”
“At first, Nigerians needed our help in filmmaking, but they’ve since built a stronger industry and no longer rely on us. The issue often boils down to ego. We need to set aside pride and prioritize teamwork to thrive,” he noted. “No one is an island. No matter how powerful you think you are, progress only comes through collaboration.”
