Mary, the former housekeeper for Kuami Eugene, has stated that the widely shared photo of her with a birthday party backdrop was faked and set up by her previous employer.
Numerous online users attacked Mary for being ungrateful after she stormed social media with a torrent of complaints against her former boss, Eugene taking her to events and even throwing her a birthday party.
However, Mary asserted in her most recent interview with Der Mad King that the background shown in her well-known birthday photo belongs to someone else.
Telling the tale, Mary stated that she and Kuami Eugene had gone to a restaurant on a casual note when they noticed the background intended for an unidentified birthday celebrant.
She stated that same moment, Eugene gave her the order to take advantage of the situation and snap some pictures in front of the backdrop bearing the large words, “Happy Birthday.”
The former maid of the highlife artist made these remarks in response to claims that, despite receiving preferential treatment from him, she has been ungrateful.
We were in Capitol Restaurant when I was standing beside the balloon at that same moment. The backdrop was someone’s birthday where I was standing. I wasn’t the target audience for the décor. He instructed me to get up and pose in front of the backdrop so it would appear as though it was meant for me when we went to the restaurant on a typical day to eat. He mentioned that he planned to snap a photo and share it on my birthday. Those who claim that I am unappreciative are ignorant of the reality.
He moved it from the hallway to his room the other time, saying, ‘I watch TV a lot. I overheard That was the time he appeared on a certain show and shouted me out. Until someone informed me, I was hearing and seeing nothing. since he removed the TV from the hallway,” she said.
In earlier interviews, Mary revealed the reasons behind her removal from Kuami Eugene’s home, which included accusations of abuse and her acknowledgement that their disagreement sprang from her inability to conduct errands. She described incidents of her collapsing while visiting the musician’s home, attributing it to an unsuitable diet and other unspecified causes.
