Ghanaian musician King Paluta is optimistic about securing the prestigious 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) Artist of the Year title.
In an interview on Neat FM, the rapper acknowledged ongoing discussions that position him as a strong contender for the award. He also highlighted that veteran rapper Okyeame Kwame recently endorsed him as the most deserving artist for the honor.
Reflecting on his journey, King Paluta emphasized that his relentless hard work throughout 2024 makes him a worthy recipient of the award. He recalled releasing multiple hit songs, including Odogwu the Bad, Grandfather and Aseda, which dominated the charts.
His efforts were recognized at the 2024 TGMA, where he won Best New Artist and Best Hiplife Song. He pointed out that winning Best New Artist was a testament to his impact in the industry, as fans had predicted his rise even before the awards.
“Since both industry players and fans are backing me for the title, I’m certain I will win it,” he declared.
